Helianthus annuus

Posted by
Chris (Massachusetts, United States) on 23 July 2018 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

Close up of a large sunflower during a visit at Buttonwoods Farm in Connecticut. Using an off camera flash to the right, I was able to add lighting to the closer sunflower. The lighting help to amplify the details and amplify the colors. An extra bonus was being able to capture a bee scavenging around the disc with pollen filled sacs.
